losing it.

Weight, that is. Not my mind (although I suspect it might not be long before I do lose my mind).

Three pounds down. In a week. If I can keep this up it's going to be a good summer. :)

Bought a new mat for yoga. And a new lunch bag. And spend a lot at the grocery store (I'd forgotten how expensive it can be to eat healthy). But I'm having fun with new recipes and using my friends as guinea pigs to see how they taste (the recipes, not my friends).

I'm even loading some hip-hop onto my iPod for my gym mix. I know- big step!

sick girl.

Getting over the crud that everyone has. It hasn't been a fun seven days. But, I did get this close to Kenny Chesney on Saturday night. And, I've been able to live on Dole fruit bars, so it's not all bad.

I desperately want some strawberry rum cake from C
athy's Rum Cakes.

I might have to treat myself to these lovely gems:

Mother's Day Brunch at Garduno's Margarita Factory on Sunday. The next best thing to being with my mother is being with all my mother-less friends. (For clarification's sake, we are not all orphans, all of our mothers just live in different states than us.) How beautiful is this place?

kenny.

Tomorrow night. Me, Sugarland and Kenny Chesney. And thousands of other screaming fans. Good times.
