{beach books}

My new issue of Costal Living came yesterday and set me on quest for "beach books." Here are the favorites I have found so far:

Vent of the day: My crappy Dell Pocket DJ broke yesterday. This is the second one Dell has sent because the DJ has had the same powering off issues. I think it's time for an iPod.

I suppose it's a fact of life that those around us will disappoint us from time to time. People can't always live up to our standards or expectations, no matter how "reachable" those 'bars' may be. Letting go of the disappointment is hard; just as it's hard to forgive the person who has let us down. I know that not letting go of the hurt and negative feelings is much more damaging to me than anyone else, but my father is right- I wear my heart on my sleeve. I internalize things much more than I should.

What I really need now is a beach and book...good thing Mexico is only three days away.

Kenny Chesney was AMAZING! None of my pictures really turned out that well but the show was fantastic. I have to admit, though, if I was forced to choose between Dierks Bentley and Kenny Chesney, I would pick Dierks. He's so incredibly cute and sexy. Love that boy!

MEXICO
KMB just invited us all to Rocky Point over the 4th of July! Her father rented a beach house and wants us all to come down. Never been to Mexico before so I am CRAZY EXCITED to go!

After much begging, pleading and, yes, a couple of tears, I have my very own ticket to see the sold out muscial, Wicked, in August! I'm so happy I would run through the Alps waving window treatments.

On related news, I think I've found a new place to live when my lease is up in October.

And, one of my favorite LDS authors, Kerry Blair, recently contacted me to let me know I was the winner of the contest on her website. Check it out! My mom will love that Kerry is sending my e-mail address to her son! LOL. If you've not read any of Kerry's books, DO IT NOW! They are great.
